I just took a look at last years concerts and am disappointed that I didn't learn about your group sooner. My husband and I love Celtic and Folk music and I think it would be to our advantage to join this group. Thanks for bringing such great acts to Vancouver.

The Rogue Folk Club is where I see phenomenal musicians in an intimate setting -- I am often sitting there ASTOUNDED by the musicians I am hearing and the great opportunity to see them up close and personal. I have been introduced to so much great music I never would have heard otherwise. Keep up the good work!

I was stunned by the Bill Bourne show. Astoundingly beautiful and modest too. I wish I could capture the mood in my heart and hold it forever.

Hey Steve:

Just a note to thank you for the Rogue Podcast. I've been at home all of 28 days so far this year, but the Rogue has accompanied me on every trip. It's great to have you with me in Hawaii, Atlanta, rural Belgium, Phoenix, Seattle and across Canada.

Thanks mate!

Stephen Fearing is fabulous. I will be sure to check out his guitar stylings on March 23. Way to go Rogue!

Steve, I was reading your comments on Bodega, who you saw at Memphis Folk Alliance. I first ran into Ross Couper late one night at the Shetland Folk Festival 4 years ago, where I predicted he would be someone to watch out for. Even at that age, in that crowd, surrounded by incredible fiddlers, there was something about his playing that stood out. And he only came in third, that year, in their Young Fiddler of the Year contest.

Any chance of getting them to BC? I would do my best to get down there to see them, if they came, and work even harder to try and get them to come up to this part of the world. They would pack the place out in Smithers, I have no doubt, and could easily spend days there doing workshops.

Well lads, Im planning to head back to Van this summer after 8 yrs over here, I was wondering if there's any traditional sessions that go on in the city and if anyone can join in... Preferably in a pub or other lively setting. I'm mad interested to find out, so if anyone could help, that'd be brilliant! Cheers

Shooglenifty mesmerized and animated the Vancouver crowd. St. James Hall really has the vibes. The dancefloor, filled with happy dancers, pumped up and down just like a more intimate Commodore Ballroom. The place was buzzing with excitement. Fortunately we will have a video of the sound-check to remind us of the great event. Rogue Rules!
