After the success of last year’s appearance, Jim Byrnes is back to celebrate the release of House of Refuge. On this album, multi-nominated and Juno Award winner Byrnes has dug deep into the traditions that have influenced his whole life. Rooted in the gospel vein, House of Refuge features songs of hope, longing, sin and redemption – it is perhaps Byrnes most soulful and personal recording. Special guests, The Sojourners, features vocalists Marcus Mosely, Will Sanders, and Ron Small – sure to help raise the spirit and the roof.
