New Brunswick's Matt Andersen is a larger than life character with a soulful voice and a brilliant guitar style. With deep roots in the Blues, Matt has developed his own unique repertoire and performance style, combining Blues standards, rock covers, and most especially original songs with the sort of depth of soul usually only found on old Otis Redding albums. His latest CD, Something Between, is an outstanding example of this. We are delighted to bring him to the Rogue for the first time (in fact we've been trying to do so ever since we first saw him at the Mission Folk Festival in 2007).
