LeVolume’s music features the rich strumming of acoustic guitars, the bright tinkling of mandolins and ethereal vocals with loads of harmonies strewn throughout. The result is a rich yet light, folk-not-folk, bubbly yet heavy concoction that is sure to intoxicate its listeners. LeVolume takes the music seriously, but not themselves, just like Fleetwood Mac, except without the drums, bass, piano, cocaine and infidelity. They’re also funny.

Having performed and recorded with a list of Canadian royalty too long to include here…ok, ok, we’ll include a few: Feist, Sarah Harmer, Amy Millan, Stars, Apostle Of Hustle, Ron Hynes, all the Whiteleys…you can bet these folks know what they’re doing in the studio and on stage! Along with the “fourth J” - Jason Mercer (Ani DiFranco, Ron Sexsmith, Rick Moranis) at the controls in Neptune’s Machine Studio on Wolfe Island, Ontario, LeVolume has created what is already being called "a modern masterpiece, or at least your new favourite Canadian dock-folk.” by fictional A&R man, J. J. Taylor.

In the unfolding narrative of her life, Deanna emerges in a new chapter as a multifaceted artist - a singer, songwriter, event producer, B&B hostess and cultural maven. Her decades-long musical journey encompasses a rich tapestry of genres, from swingin' big band to gypsy-jazz, psychedelic rock to sacred ceremony. Her long awaited sophomore album Every Little Spark, features top Canadian musicians in a genre-fluid collection of songs rippling out messages of love, hope and positive change.

Nestled in the Sunshine Coast of BC since 2017, Deanna stays active with her performance while presenting popular and emerging artists in local venues as well as her popular SoulShine Garden Series at Secret Beach B&B Suites. With a deep history in Vancouver's gypsy-jazz scene as the long running chanteuse of Vancouver's Hot Club of Mars and a founding role in the Canadian Jam Band scene, Deanna's artistic evolution continues, harmonizing with the human soul and our precious Earth.
